It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karen Diane Adcox, who left this world on March 29, 2025, in La Verne, California, at the age of 83. Born in Canton, Ohio, on October 17, 1941, Diane lived a life full of love, laughter, and resilience.
Diane was a woman of quiet strength and deep devotion. As a single mother, she raised four boys on her own, instilling in them the values of independence, hard work, and faith. She had an incredible sense of humor, always ready with a witty joke or a playful tease, yet she was also deeply caring and honest. Though naturally introverted, Diane formed unbreakable bonds with those lucky enough to call her a friend. Her unwavering faith in God guided her through life’s challenges, and she remained a pillar of strength for her family.
She found joy in life's simple pleasures—cheering for her beloved Lakers, working on puzzles, and reminiscing about her younger days of traveling. One of her greatest joys was her cherished poodle, Susie, with whom she is now reunited. Diane dedicated many years to her career as an Avon distribution associate, a role she took pride in.
Above all, Diane was most proud of her family. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, finding immense joy in watching them grow. Her legacy of love continues through her surviving family: her son, Jeff Adcox; five grandsons, Jeffrey Adcox, Eric Adcox, Cameron Adcox, Cory Adcox, and Jordan Adcox; four granddaughters, Jessica Adcox, Brittany Barrett, Katelyn Adcox, and Kelsey Smalley; 17 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Sandra Turner and Carol Arrington.
Diane is preceded in death by her three sons, James Adcox, Gregory Adcox, and Gary Adcox. What a beautiful reunion this must be.
Those who knew Diane will always remember her infectious laughter, her unwavering honesty, and the way she made others smile. She would want to be remembered with joy, for the moments of laughter she shared with those she loved.
