It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of Galdino Gomez on December 10, 2024, in Panorama City, California, at the age of 51. Born on January 8, 1973, in Duarte, California, Galdino brought immense joy and laughter to the lives of all who knew him.

Galdino was more than just a devoted husband and father; he was the heart and soul of his family. Among his many achievements, his greatest accomplishment was his loving marriage to Connie and the beautiful life they built together with their children. His love for the outdoors, cars, and the simple joys of life was contagious. Whether cheering on his favorite basketball and football teams with his sons or firing up the grill for a family BBQ, Galdino knew how to make every moment memorable. One of his greatest joys was hopping in the car with Connie for a spontaneous drive or running errands, turning even the mundane into cherished time together. His recent trip to Europe was a dream come true, and he was already planning more adventures to share with his loved ones.

Professionally, Galdino dedicated himself to his role in Clinical Informatics, where his expertise and diligence left a lasting impression on his colleagues. He also achieved a significant personal milestone by earning a degree in drug and alcohol counseling, a testament to his drive and perseverance to provide for his family.

Galdino’s infectious laughter, warm hugs, and knack for welcoming everyone were hallmarks of his personality. A social butterfly, he brought people together effortlessly and was a dependable father and husband who always prioritized his family. As the life of the party, he had a way of connecting with people that left them feeling valued and loved. He adored Connie, his wife of many years, and was her biggest supporter and partner in every sense. His children, Dino, Austin, Elise, and Ethan, were his pride and joy; their successes and milestones filled him with immeasurable pride.

Galdino is survived by his loving wife, Connie Gomez; his children, Galdino Gomez Jr. (Dino), Austin Gomez, Elise Gomez, and Ethan Gomez. And his 2 brothers, Gerardo Gomez and Alberto Gomez. He is preceded in death by his parents, Galdino Gomez and Juana Alicia Medina Gomez. His legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will forever live in the hearts of his family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Galdino’s life will take place in February, with details to follow.

In honor of Galdino’s memory, the family has established the Support for a Loving Father’s Memorial fund, organized by his daughter, Elise Gomez. This fundraiser is dedicated to covering the expenses of Galdino’s memorial, ensuring his life is celebrated as he deserves, his cremation service, and any medical or home bills his wife needs to be current with. Contributions are deeply appreciated and will help the family honor Galdino’s legacy.

Galdino would want to be remembered as someone who embraced life fully, brought joy to others, and deeply loved his family. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who knew him.
