George Rosario Sicam Obituary

November 25, 1957 - November 25, 2024

George Was born to wonderful parents in a city in Pangasinan, Philippines from Loreto Sicam Sr, who was a lawyer and worked for the NBI and Juliet Rosario Sicam, a pharmacist who migrated to USA to support her 3 children including George when her husband passed away at a young age of 31 years old.

George and I met right after high school at ages 17. We were young but at that time, I was hoping that we both could make it to life until we are 70's or longer. But life works in mysterious ways and Life is what happens while you are making other plans.

We got married in the year 1981 in Houston Texas, then we moved to Northern California in 1983.  Although we ended our marriage in 1992, we remained friends and maintained a long standing family relationship. We were blessed with two wonderful children Chris and Iris. Chris and Iris and myself moved to southern California in the year 2000 and George started in the Bay Area.

We shared precious memories as a family for over 10 years. The best things about him were he never neglected us financially and he made sure he paid us visits every year on holidays.

He continued to work and lived in the Bay Area up until he decided to retire last January 2023 and decided to move back here to Palmdale.

George and I shared fun memories together at my parent's house in the Philippines doing our favorite things including decorating our parent's Christmas trees since we were around 17 years of ages, just started college at the same university.

George is survived by his two sisters Beth and Sharon and his younger brother Joseph. We are very thankful to them that they made George's last birthday memorable to him by bringing his favorite ice cream cake and some other items. They made him feel loved.

George, we can't thank you enough for all the love, caring and support you have tried to give us through hail and high water.

We love you in a very special way.
