Dear family and friends,
This is Joe Sicam, and we are writing to celebrate the life of my older brother, George—a man whose generosity knew no bounds and whose love for James Bond and Bruce Lee was legendary. If there was ever a trivia night about 007 or a martial arts showdown, he would have been our secret weapon.
George loved rocking to "You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet" by Bachman Turner Overdrive, "Vehicle" by Ides of March, and singers like Paul McCartney and Santana, to name a few. He loved riding his bike when he was young in Dagupan.
George had a quiet demeanor, but do not let that fool you. Behind that calm exterior was a billiard shark and a casino enthusiast who could give any high roller a run for their money. His love for math and puzzles was unparalleled—he could solve a math problem faster than you could say "Jackpot!"
As a provider, he was second to none. His family almost never lacked anything, except perhaps a few more hours of his time to enjoy the retirement he so richly deserved. It is a regret we all share that he did not get to travel the world and see all the places he dreamed of.
In his honor, let us remember the laughter, the quiet wisdom, and the countless moments of joy he brought into our lives. And let us remember a man who lived life with the precision of a math puzzle, the strategy of a billiard game, and the thrill of a casino night.
Rest in peace, Kuya George. May your spirit continue to inspire us, and may you finally get to enjoy that grand adventure in the great beyond.
