Gerardo "Jared" Paul Campbell, 74, passed away suddenly on February 28, 2025, after a difficult battle with Parkinsons. Gerardo was born on April 30, 1950, in Glasgow Scotland, UK.
Gerardo attended Holyrood Senior Secondary School in Glasgow and when he moved to Edinburgh he attended New College Edinburgh University in Edinburgh, Scotland. In 1980 Gerardo moved to the United States.
Gerardo was passionate about helping people through healing, being a spiritual teacher, counseling, reiki and motivational speaking, he loved that he was able to help and change so many people’s lives because of what he loved and enjoyed doing.
Gerado was loving, enthusiastic, friendly and at times stubborn. Gerardo had an uncanny ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He could strike up a conversation with anyone and had made so many lifelong friends because of his friendly nature.
Gerardo loved to travel, he had been to India, South Africa, Ibiza, Spain and so many places within the United States and United Kingdom. Gerado also loved the beach and lived many years in San Diego and Tijuana, taking long walks on the beach, where he was most at peace.
Gerardo is survived by his loving daughter, Natasha Smith; son-in-law Alexander Smith; grandsons Paul and Benson Smith; brother Chris Dorman; sister Ann Shaw; lifelong friend Barbara Thompson. Gerardo was preceded by his parents Joseph and Susana Dorman.
Gerado will be remembered for his kindness, gentle spirit, and the love he shared with his family and friends. Gerardo will be deeply missed, but his love will remain a guiding light for all who knew him. Though Gerardo is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Till we meet again.
