Greg Krutilek Obituary

December 30, 1947 - November 19, 2024

Greg Krutilek, beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2024, in Sand Canyon, California, at the age of 76. Born on December 30, 1947, in College Station, Texas, Greg lived a life full of accomplishment, passion, and love.

Greg was a man of many talents and roles. He worked as an attorney, creative consultant, business manager, and CPA, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.

His professional achievements were only part of the story. Greg had a zest for life and an eye for the details that made it beautiful. His perfect morning was spent at the ranch that he and his wife, Jennifer Jean, built together—a place of tranquility where he could enjoy the animals, a strong mug of coffee, the Wall Street Journal, and completing the New York Times crossword puzzle in red fountain pen.

“J2 Farms” was not only his sanctuary but also a symbol of his hard work and shared dreams with Jennifer Jean, a life-long equestrian. It reflected his love of nature, his deep appreciation for animals, and his dedication to creating a peaceful sanctuary for all kinds of living things.  His kindness and compassion were endless, and no animal was turned away from their ranch. Together, they rescued horses, mini donkeys, pigs, and lots of cats – where they received medical care, food, and unconditional love.  Every animal that arrived at J2 Farms knew they were at their “forever home.”

Greg will be remembered as a loving husband to Jennifer Jean, a caring brother to Claudia, Adrienne, and Courtney, and a devoted uncle to his nieces and nephews. He was a steadfast friend and confidant who made those around him feel loved, appreciated, and valued.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Adrienne Krutilek. In addition to his family, Greg’s passing is deeply felt by the many lives he touched through his work, his friendships, and his generous spirit. He will be missed more than he could ever know.

Greg’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May his memory be a blessing to all.
