It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kegt Sone Vildor, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, who peacefully departed this life on October 16, 2024, in Pasadena, California, at the age of 45.
Born on June 10, 1979, in Miami, Florida, Kegt grew up with a passion for caring for others. She pursued a distinguished career in pediatrics, dedicating her life to ensuring the well-being of children. A compassionate caregiver and an extraordinary achiever, she earned her PhD and DNP at Duke University, a testament to her intellect and determination. Kegt’s adventurous spirit shone brightly, exemplified by her triumphant climb of Mount Kilimanjaro—a lifelong dream she proudly accomplished.
Kegt was known for her bubbly, caring, and witty personality. Her humor could light up a room, but her fierce loyalty ensured she never tolerated injustice. She was deeply passionate about her family, her travels, and giving back to others. A self-proclaimed “Momma’s girl,” Kegt treasured her close family bonds and leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and generosity.
Kegt is survived by her twin sister, Igng Vildor; her sister, Janie Santiago; her half-sister, Villanette Vildor; and her brothers, James Vildor, Daniel Vildor; her half-brothers, Kerlin Joseph, Rony Delgarde, and Jerry Vildor. Her nieces—Solines Santiago, Simone Santiago, and Daniella Vildor—and nephews—Joseph Santiago, DJ Vildor, and Armor Vildor—were a source of great pride and joy. She also leaves behind her cherished fur baby, Jeremiel Bartholomew Vildor.
A memorial service to celebrate Kegt’s incredible life will be held on November 23, 2024, at 8:00 am, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Gotha, Florida.
Kegt’s legacy of kindness, perseverance, and adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be profoundly missed but lovingly remembered always.
