Linda Kay Brooks, beloved sister and friend, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2025, in La Habra, California, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 71 years old.
Born on March 23, 1953, in San Diego, California, Linda grew up with a kind and gentle spirit that remained with her throughout her life. After completing her education at California State University, Los Angeles, she began her career at the Coca-Cola bottling plant in Los Angeles, which spanned 34 years. She was recognized as a dedicated employee while working in the Accounting Department. She rose to the level as Pricing Manager and was remembered as a mentor to those she had hired and trained.
Linda had a deep love for the theatre and found great joy in experiencing live performances. She was an avid traveler, always looking forward to new adventures. She maintained strong, lifelong friendships, treasuring the people in her life with unwavering kindness and loyalty.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Lee and Mary Brooks. Linda leaves behind her brothers, Darrell Brooks (Karen) and Wayne Brooks (Lydia), along with many dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
A private celebration of Linda’s life will be held on her upcoming birthday, March 23, 2025, where family and close friends will gather to honor her legacy.
Linda will be remembered for her warmth, gentle strength, and the love she shared with those around her. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
