Marla Isley, 77 years of age, passed on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Emanate Health Inter-Community Hospital.
Born as Marla Dale Stark on August 7, 1947 in Phoenix, Arizona to Richard James and Laura Mae Stark. She was the youngest of four children.Marla married the late Robert (Bob) Isley in 1965, from this marriage resulted in two sons. The family moved to Idaho in 1973. While the marriage ended, she carried the Isley name with pride. She moved back to California in 1979 and found her partner for life, Linden Hawkes. Marla enjoyed the little things, quite literally, she had many trinkets and collectibles, and a large knowledge of them. Being family oriented she loved spending time with her two sons and her grandchildren.
Marla was a devoted spouse, a cheerful friend and a loving mother and grandmother. To know her means to have had a smile on your face as she would always have the right thing to say, whether it was with love or a wise-crack. She loved being with her friends and family as she was very much outgoing.
Marla leaves to cherish her loving memory to her partner Linden Hawkes, her sisters, Kaye Richardson and Shirley Kern, her sons Terry and his wife Lory Isley and Danny and his wife Toni Isley, two grandsons Scotty and TJ Isley. She is preceded in death by her brother, Dick Stark, and granddaughter Amanda Isley.
