Michael Francis O’Hare Obituary

June 9, 1962 - February 8, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Francis O’Hare, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who died peacefully on Saturday, February 8, 2025, in Burbank, California. He was born on June 9, 1962, and raised in Westchester, New York, alongside his twin brother, Matthew O’Hare, and his older siblings, William Robert O’Hare, Jr., and Billianne Dollard.

Michael was the son of Bill O’Hare, a respected Publicity Executive who played a significant role in shaping Hollywood’s golden era from the 1950s to the 1970s, and Dolores O’Hare, a devoted mother. Growing up in a household immersed in the entertainment industry, Michael developed a deep appreciation for storytelling, creativity, and the power of cinema to bring people together. He carried that love for stories into every aspect of his life, whether through his work, friendships, or the many conversations where he could always make people smile.

A proud graduate of UCLA in 1988, Michael built a career in finance, first as a broker for Merrill Lynch in Beverly Hills and later as a financial advisor for Scott Trade in Burbank, where he used his sharp analytical skills and keen understanding of the markets. After his time in finance, he embraced new challenges, working as a truck driver and in security roles —always finding ways to keep moving forward.

He is survived by his twin brother, Matthew Tracy O’Hare, and extended family and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close. While his charming presence is irreplaceable, his memory lives on in the stories, love, and laughter he shared.

A private memorial will be held in his honor, where those closest to him will celebrate his life.

Rest easy, Michael. You’ll always be with us.
