Sotero was born on March 26, 1929, in East Los Angeles, CA, where he grew up surrounded by the vibrant culture and tight-knit community of his hometown. He dedicated many years of his life to janitorial work, always taking pride in his responsibilities and earning the respect of those he worked with through his strong work ethic and commitment.
Known for his infectious sense of humor, Sotero had a gift for making people laugh. Whether it was through a well-timed joke or a playful remark, he could brighten even the darkest days. His humor was a reflection of his kind and generous spirit, and he made every moment spent with him memorable.
